A golden sculpture of a bull’s head, originally attached to an ancient Mesopotamian lyre. Found in the site of Ur, an ancient Mesopotamian city in modern-day Iraq. It was found resting on the bodies of the king’s attendants, and it was believed that the music of the lyre would accompany them on their journey through the underworld.
