Dopey is drawn on top of this ad in the 1938 edition of The Leader-Post on March 21st. The advertisement states “Dopey sez Snow White is as beautiful as ‘Dale’ Rose” which was being sold at Regina Florist.

This was a full sized spread in the paper. The success of the film was well marketed and used to sell even more products such as flowers from the Florist in the Ad.

The picture of dopey was clearly purchased to use for this advertisement because of the markings of “OWDR” suggesting the purchase of the copy written imaging.
