Phil Hands, a moderate cartoonist, uses an image of the Grinch to show the controversy surrounding Russia’s suspected involvement in the US elections. Around Christmas time, word spread about the alleged involvement of Russian hackers in the US elections. The comic shows Vladimir Putin as the Grinch trying to interfere with the ballots using a computer with the Soviet flag. In 2018, the FBI concluded an investigation that found 12 Russian men guilty of a computer hacking conspiracy.
